The Futureheads

Punkcore group is back with fourth album and what many say is their best yet.

I came across these guys when I was searching through new releases on Billboard.com. I thought that the band had sounded vaguely familiar when it came to me that I had heard these guys on a video game about 5 years ago. The Futureheads  released their self-titled debut album 6 years ago, which was the most successful commercial out of all of their albums, and now they are back with their fourth studio album.

The Chaos is an upbeat and frantic album that is reminiscent of Bloc Party or Franz Ferdinand. At heart they are a punk band that is notorious for their tight sound. Check out their first single off the album called "Heartbreak Song". The track is a familiar upbeat indie single, but these guys have got a passion that is evident in their music. This is a great album that is easy to sing-a-long to and with tracks around the 3 minute mark is an easy listen.

I saw the Futureheads a couple of months back at my local venue. If it wasn't for the hoardes of complete idiots who came to watch I would say they where awesome. They seem to attract idiots but have awesome tunes!
