We Are Scientists

California based rockers are back in the saddle with energetic new album.
Armed with a new label and a new drummer the boys from Berkeley, CA are back with a new album titled Barbara. I started listening to these guys back in 2006 when they had their original drummer on their breakthrough album With Love And Squalor. That album went on to sell over 100,000 copies in the first 6 months.
We Are Scientists formed back in 2000 and take influence from Franz Ferdinand (a band that they share much of the same audience with). Their newest record should be met with much better reviews than their last album. Brain Thrust Mastery lacked the familiar energy in 2008 that their debut album displayed, but their latest attempt brings them back to familiar territory.
