Gym Class Heroes frontman goes solo
Travis "Travie" McCoy is a familiar face for most. The lead singer of group Gym Class Heroes that had gold certified success with their album As Cruel As School Children. The album featured the smash single "Cupid's Chokehold" which reached #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2007.
His solo debut is already destined for success after the release of "Billionaire" which has been steadily climbing the charts since its introduction earlier this Spring. Two other singles have been released since from the upcoming debut solo album entitled, Lazarus. Tracks "We'll Be Alright" and "Superbad (11:34)" have also been met with relative success and praise.
Travie is currently on tour with Cobra Starship and 3OH!3 to promote for Lazarus, which drops June 8th.

OMG. I hated gym class heroes...but i love travis mccoy. i'm glad he didn't stay with katie perry... it would have ruined him musically. He deserves solo success and i think that billionaire song could do it.
