Wakey!Wakey!

Piano Driven Indie-pop To Refresh Your Ears

One Tree Hill fans will most likely be familiar with Wakey!Wakey! and cast member Mike Grubbs. Grubbs is the lead singer/piano player for one of the best acts i've heard in a long time. Wakey!Wakey! is honest, refreshing music that is catchy enough for the masses, but sincere enough to move you.

Grubbs is an amazing songwriter with an extremely talented voice. This can be attributed to his former musical theatre career that eventually led him to be cast on One Tree Hill. "Almost Everything", the first single from their debut album, is the perfect blend of indie and pop that is by no means easy to pull off. Not to mention the musicians on Wakey!Wakey!'s debut album Almost Everything I Wish I'd Said The Last Time I Saw You... are absolutely phenomenal.

Every track on the record brings something new to the table. Check out this album and especially the songs "Almost Everything" and "Light Outside".
