Uffie

Sex, Dreams, & Denim Jeans

Anna-Catherine Hartley was born in the states, was raised in Hong Kong, and got famous in Paris as Uffie. Her parents split up when she was a teenager so she lived with her mom in Miami, but she couldn’t stay out of trouble so mom shipped her off to France to live with dad. She went to the famed International School of Paris to learn to be a fashion designer but dropped out when she was offered a record contract.

Her new release Sex Dreams & Denim Jeans also includes Feadz, Mr. Oizo, SebastiAn and Mirwais who served as producers on the album. Both Pharrell Williams and Mattie Safer will make guest appearances on tracks. Uffie’s in the news now because a lot of people are calling her a victim of identity theft and the thief is Ke$ha! Check out Uffie and decide for yourself if Ke$ha copied her.

After reading this I do feel like Kesha is copying Uffie. This is the problem with main stream artist though, they will copy underground artists and get away with it because they know no one will know they're doing it. Uffie needs to get back on it, haven't heard much from her lately.

When I first heard "Tick Tock" by Kesha I didn't know it was by Kesha, I really thought it was Uffie. Of course later I found out it was some other chick. I was very disappointed.

I thought Kesha was UFFIE when I first heard kesha on the radio! I was glad to hear (who I thought) was uffie on the air-waves, but when I found out it was some annoying hack called kesha, got a little pissed. that chick strait ripped Uffie's style!
