The Producers Behind MIA's "Paper Planes"
They're from Jamaica, they’re weird, and everybody wants them to produce their songs. Its two producers named Diplo and Switch. They've been nominated for Grammy’s already and they go by the name Major Lazer. People started talking about them after they produced MIA “Paper Planes.” The album is called Guns Don't Kill People, Lazers Do. You can hear the M.I.A. influence throughout their songs, like this one... Their animated video for “Hold the Line” was recently nominated for a MTV Video Award for Best Breakthrough Video, but they didn’t win. Who doesn’t love the story of a Jamaican commando, who lost his arm in a secret zombie war, and fights vampires, monsters, meanwhile partying hard? On Major Lazer’s website, www.majorlazer.com, you can download “Call Mi” and "Hold the Line”!
