Choir of Young Believers

This member packed band Choir of Young Believers are an indie pop favorite that references the sounds like Radiohead, Roy Orbison, Beach Boys and more. That sounds cool already, but add an army of guitars, piano, string and brass and it’s AMAZING. The live performance of COYB is one that will dazzle, the lead singer, Jannis, often performs as a duo with a guitar or a piano and cello; other times, up to eight people fill the stage, playing everything from strings and horns to percussion and bells. Choir of Young Believer’s debut album This Is for the White in Your Eyes is an indie kid favorite with its mix of indie pop, vocal harmony and folk. You can find the Choir of Young Believers making their rounds at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, TX this year. Some are saying this is the most mesmerizing album since Radiohead. In fact, you can hear the similarity right here in "Action/Reaction."
