Planetary

Yesterday was a great day for me. Then it all changed thanks to the introduction of a new, FREE app called Planetary. Why would it change my life so dramatically? Because its just so cool! Let me explain.
I have been fascinated by the stars and planets my whole life and one day, I will go there. Its amazing to think about how expansive space is. Its endless based on what we know about it and we really have no idea whats out there. Well, if this app is any indication as to what is out there, put me on a ship and blast me off! Planet Stone Temple Pilots here I come!
Now you might be saying what in the world (or outer space) is Planet Stone Temple Pilots? Well, Stone Temple Pilots is one of my all time favorite bands, so of course I will have them in my iTunes library and that is what leads me to this. Planetary is an extraordinary way to explore your music collection. You will fly around the Universe created by the information about the artists that you love. Still a little confused? Read on.
Imagine yourself standing in a quiet and very dark. The only thing you can see is a cluster of stars and planets within arms length of your face. You reach out and touch one of the planets and quickly you are sent soaring through the Universe past all of the other stars and planets. You arrive at the planet that you touched and you notice that it is titled, Stone Temple Pilots. You notice that it has other planets orbiting it that represent the band's albums. Reach out again and touch one of those planets to reveal its moons that represent the albums songs. Touch one of the moons (songs) to play it. As it plays you notice that that it begins to orbit the planet leaving a cosmic trail in its wake to indicate how much of the song has been played.
It is also HDMI capable which means you can hook this awesome technology up to your TV and wow people at your next get together at your house.
The only downside to the app is that it is only available for the iPad. The upside is that it is totally free...for now! I would get it as soon as possible!
