Angry Birds Rio

Everyone's favorite fearless fowls are back and this time they are headed south of the border to Rio to save their kidnapped kin. (I should be a blurb writer!)

This installment finds our not so friendly fowls kidnapped by a big white parrot and held captive in a cage in a warehouse in Rio. Eventually they escape from the cage and realize, to their dismay that many of their feathered friends are locked up as well. They set out to release their friends including Blu and Jewel who are two rare Macaws (parrots) and the stars of the upcoming Fox movie, Rio. Yes, the Angry Birds are headed to the big screen, however, its not clear how much screen time our little angry hero's will get.

The game cost's $.99 and so far, it has taken me about an hour to write this much because every 30 seconds or so, I must pick it up and launch another attack on boxes, cages and stones. As of right now, I have not encountered any of those nasty perfidious piggies but I would bet that they show up later on in the game. I'll have to just keep raring back and letting the birds fly to find out.

Angry Birds Rio has the same reliable game play as all of the previous installments and is just as big of a waste of time as the previous installments as well. With that being said, I must cease writing this to spend at least another 30 minutes trying to get to the next levels.

Angry Birds Rio is available right now on iTunes for a mere $.99. And remember, an Angry Bird in the hand is worth two in the bush...... Yup... I went there.
