I found this app a few months ago and it was an instant hit at the office. I took pictures of everyone and if I could make the pictures come to life, the Dawn of the Dead zombies would have a hard time keeping up with my zombie army. But thats not going to happen so I will just continue taking pictures of friends and family and turning them into zombies for my 2 year old daughter to look at

This is VidRhythm and it is made by Harmonix. They are the same people that made Guitar Hero as well as Rock Band and Dance Central, so you know its going to be a fun app! When I stumbled upon it, I thought "Yeah, yeah. Another singing app that will autotune my voice.... blah blah blah." Regardless, I went ahead and bought it and I looked at it with my head tilted to side wondering what I had just purchased for $1.99.

When and or if someone ever asks you to show them what an iPhone can do, this is the perfect app to make your case. Its called Star Walk and its pretty dang rad! It allows you to locate and identify 20,000 + objects in the night sky. You can use the 360 degree touch control star map to look at constellations, stars, planets, satellites and galaxies in real time! What?!?!

You know what? Searching for apps that are worthy of the title "Makes You Cooler" can be a real punch to the face at times. There are a bajillion apps out there and part of the problem finding them is not knowing where to start looking.
Where would Mikey and the Goonies have been without their map to fine One Eyed Willy? Lost. Thats where they would be. Well, Discovr App's is like a liitle magical road map to the apps.
The concept is easy. Type in an app that you have, want or select one of the featured apps and it opens up apps that are similar in map form. When you find an app you like you can read the app descriptions, check out the screenshots and ratings, or buy it directly from the App Store. You can also share your favorite apps and maps with your friends via Twitter, Facebook or email.
I would say for the $2 that I spent on this app, it saved me hours of time looking through the iTunes Store! Thanks Discovr Apps!
